A self-initiated project exploring bold visuals,
playful interactions, and 3D elements

💻 Custom JS Implementation

🌐 Interactive 3D Object

Overview

This self-initiated project was a creative playground—an opportunity to explore bold visual design, interactive motion, and 3D elements in a web experience. Without a client or brief, I gave myself full freedom to experiment with creative interactions, responsive design, and immersive visuals.

Project Summary

My Role: Web Designer & Web Developer
Tools: Figma, Wix, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Canva, Midjourney, Spline

Outcome

✦  Built a fully responsive, interactive template site in 3 weeks
✦  Integrated 3D visual elements to add depth and energy to the interface
✦  Explored the creative potential of Wix as both a design and development platform

Design Experiments

Intro Animation

The intro animation sets the stage for the entire web experience. It’s the user’s first impression—and an opportunity to establish tone, mood, and personality within the first few seconds. When done thoughtfully, they create a sense of cohesion and polish that reflects the care behind the brand.

For this project, I crafted a fluid, cinematic opening sequence for every page to draw users in and signal that this isn’t a conventional browsing experience.

Scroll Animation

Scroll animation transforms static browsing into a dynamic, narrative experience. From a UX perspective, scroll animation enhances engagement without adding friction. It encourages exploration, reinforces hierarchy, and makes complex layouts feel intuitive and lightweight. It also reflects a modern design sensibility—one that rewards curiosity and makes the experience feel alive and responsive.

By tying visual elements to the scroll position, I was able to control pacing, reveal information contextually, and create a sense of depth and flow.

Microinteractions

Microinteractions may seem small, but they play a powerful role in shaping how users feel and interact with a product. These subtle design details provide feedback, guide behavior, and enhance usability—making the interface feel more alive and intuitive.

In this project, I explored various hover states to create a more responsive and delightful experience.

3D Interactive Object

Integrating a 3D interactive object into the web experience added a layer of immersion and tactility that flat design alone can’t achieve. From a UX standpoint, 3D interactivity can deepen engagement by evoking a sense of presence and control. It transforms users from passive viewers into active participants.

The 3D element is not just decorative—it invited users to engage, rotate, and discover, creating a playful moment of interaction that bridges visual storytelling with real-time feedback.
