EV Shuttle Service
Rethinking Daily Commutes with a Smarter, Shared Ride Experience
Context
STEER Shuttle is a demo created for the city of Barrie, presenting a new dimension to the citizens with their daily commute.
Problem
Barrie’s limited public transit options have created gaps in accessibility, particularly for residents commuting between Innisfil Beach Park and Barrie South GO Station. To address this, our team proposed a shared premium shuttle service using Tesla vehicles.
To gain buy-in from the City of Barrie, we needed to rapidly design a functional, visually engaging prototype that would help stakeholders envision how this innovative service could enhance local transportation and provide a more seamless commuting experience.

Solution
With a tight deadline, I designed the STEER Shuttle demo app from scratch within two weeks. The app was created specifically for passengers to visualize how the shared shuttle service would operate.
